Words and Watercolors – Beautiful Cards and Gifts from the Watercolor Art of Peg Conley

 123

John, at Leewood Press in San Francisco, receives the files that Sarah puts together. From there, a proof of the images are run. This is an important part of the process because it has to be just right. You can catch errors in the proof (the color might be off or you’ll see a typo or decide to change cropping of an image, etc.). Once any errors are corrected, the press runs. In no time, the images are printed on card stock. Then there is the cutting, folding and bundling that has to be done before the cards come back to me for distribution. Here’s the trickiest part, marketing the cards! As it turn out, this is one of the most important parts of the process. I know I can have the most fabulous cards in the world (which I believe I do!) but if I can’t find a way to let others know about them, they’ll sit collecting dust. Help me by spreading the word about this web site and ordering cards! A big THANK YOU for your support!
